conditions: 14C, overcast, no wind, moon at first quarter.
- small white moth, dorsal pattern faint, on the kitchen window. probably plutella xylostella but i did not get the photo.
- carpet beetle. in the flour. flour discarded. carpet beetle pardoned.
- spider, large, in the bathroom. catch-and-release. she walked off slowly which i interpret as judgement.
- song thrush in the yew. seven minutes of song. did not record. should have recorded.
- one wasp, yellow-jacket type, very interested in a peach. agreed to share the peach. amicable resolution.
