The first post on a new site is the worst one to write. You don't know the room, you don't know who's listening, you don't know whether anyone's listening.
I've been writing the same novel for four years. It's about a city built on top of a slower city, with a third even slower city underneath that one, and the people who carry messages between them. It will probably take another four. That's fine. I came here because slow places are getting rare, and Aermia feels like a slow place.
